Men's Health Check (MOT) in the UK

Doctor-led health screening and personalised health planning

The H3 Men’s Health MOT

Understand your health. Optimise what matters.

The H3 Men’s Health MOT is a doctor-led, in-depth men’s health check, designed to give you a clear, joined-up understanding of your health — and a practical plan to improve and protect it.

It’s for men who want clarity, reassurance, and direction — whether you have symptoms, specific concerns, or simply want a proper health baseline and a clearer view of the future.

Your Men’s Health MOT is delivered as a structured, two-step medical review. It begins with a comprehensive Initial Health Assessment with an H3 doctor, followed by extensive blood and urine testing. You then return for a Results Review & Health Planning Consultation, where your results are reviewed in full and brought together into a clear, personalised plan.

Across both consultations, your doctor considers how your results fit with how you feel, how you live, and what you want to achieve — helping you move forward with confidence.

You’ll receive a personalised health plan, clear recommendations, and guidance on appropriate follow-up to support your health over time.

How the Men’s Health MOT works

Clear, structured, and doctor-led from start to finish

1. Pre-MOT Questionnaire

Before your first consultation, you’ll complete a short questionnaire covering your health history, lifestyle, symptoms (if any), and health goals. This allows your doctor to focus the consultation on what matters most to you.

2. Initial Health Assessment (30 minutes)

icon

You’ll have a comprehensive consultation with an H3 doctor to discuss your health concerns, medical and family history, lifestyle, and priorities. Following this, your doctor arranges comprehensive blood and urine testing tailored to you.

3. Comprehensive testing

icon

You complete an extensive test panel, including a 95-marker blood test and urinalysis, providing a detailed snapshot of your current health.

4. Results Review & Health Planning (30 minutes)

icon

Once your results are back, you’ll have a second consultation where your doctor explains the findings, reviews your health using the Six Pillar Health Model, and agrees a clear, personalised health plan with you.

5. Your Men’s Health MOT report

You’ll receive a clear written report summarising your results, health priorities, and recommended next steps.

What we assess

Who the Men’s Health MOT is ideal for

This service is well suited if you:

1 Want a clear baseline of your health
2 Have symptoms or concerns you want properly explored
3 Prefer a proactive, preventative approach to health
4 Value doctor-led, joined-up care rather than isolated tests

Health Coaching (optional)

Health Coaching is an optional addition for men who want support implementing their health plan and sustaining change.

Many men know what they should do but find it difficult to follow through consistently. Coaching provides structure, accountability, and encouragement — helping you stay focused and make progress toward your goals.

Coaching can be booked as:

  • Single sessions, or
  • A block of three 45-minute sessions, usually spaced monthly

Sessions may be delivered by an H3 Health Coach or doctor.

Practical details

  • Most men complete their Men’s Health MOT over 1–2 weeks, depending on test turnaround and appointment availability.
  • If something abnormal is identified, your doctor will explain this clearly and discuss appropriate next steps, which may include monitoring, treatment, or referral.
  • Follow-up is tailored to you. Many men choose an annual MOT, while others arrange earlier or more regular check-ins with a doctor or Health Coach.
